~Seeing things through a lense of Faith~
During your teen years (12-20) you are in a pretty rough patch. It starts in Middle school, at first you don't really know anyone, you kind of just walk around in the shadows. Afraid. Then slowly about the second week you find friends. Friends of all types, religions and faiths. They rub off on you. I can tell you that when I started Middle school and got my new friends, I wanted to be JUST like them. I changed myself and became so much like my friends. I really looked up to some girls. But I have lots of non- mormon friends. And I get asked a lot , " Why are you Mormon?" And I'll be quite honest, most of the time I just say, "I don't know" But then, you start asking yourself that, and you get to thinking, maybe the church isn't for me, my friends aren't they are doing fine. And for me, I decided. The church isn't for me. And you change again. During that time frame, I would look up on YouTube stuff about why people left or werent in the mormon church. And I thought that, that stuff was true. So I told my dad about this stuff. And he called me and told me that I just have to look through a lense of faith. Maybe to others who don't see through this lense, the church is wrong. But if you see through the lense of faith, you will see the truth. And that is when I made my decision to stay with The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. (;
